London, United Kingdom — Pastor Robert Kayanja has been recognized with the Transformational Leader of the Year 2025 award at the Global Leadership Conclave held at the House of Lords, UK Parliament. This distinguished honor celebrates leaders whose work has meaningfully impacted communities and advanced social development in some of the world’s most challenging environments.

This recognition is not just for me personally, but for the collective efforts of everyone involved with Afri-Aid. It reflects the ongoing work we are doing to support communities in South Sudan and Karamoja, providing emergency relief, food support, and long-term community transformation. In Karamoja, we are particularly focused on fostering a change in mindset, creating work opportunities, and promoting sustainable agriculture. Our goal is to show what’s possible even in the most difficult environments, and we’re seeing real progress.
